Don Schenker, President and CEO
As President, CEO and co-founder of Synergistix, Don is responsible for establishing the guiding principles of the company and aligning the ideas, strategies and resources required to realize the vision. Don has more than 15 years’ experience in the information technology field, including application development, project management and network support. Throughout his career, Don has worked with both large and small clients, including Siemens Stromberg-Carlson, a division of Siemens AG, and The Panda Project. For the last seven years, Don has focused on the design and implementation of innovative information systems for the life sciences industry.
Prior to founding Synergistix, Don was the director of marketing systems for Ryder System, Inc., a global provider of supply-chain, logistics and transportation management solutions.
Don holds an M.B.A. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Nova Southeastern University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. In 2002, he was appointed to the board of directors of the 2003 and 2004 PDMA Sharing Conference, and was re-elected for a second two-year term to support the conference through 2006.
Jay Lambert, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As Chief Operating Officer, Jay oversees Synergistix Sample Management business operations and offerings. Jay is responsible for driving business strategy, developing best practices to ensure operational efficiencies, directing system development, identifying business opportunities, managing client and partner relationships, and guiding daily operations.
Prior to joining Synergistix, Jay worked at Siemens (Telecom) where he mastered a variety of related roles in software development, project management and software development management during his 12-year tenure. His employment at Siemens included three years on international assignment at Siemens Headquarters in Munich Germany. He also served as an internal ISO/Quality representative at Siemens in conjunction with his other roles at the company.
Jay holds an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified ISO 9000 internal auditor. Jay is currently pursuing Master’s certification in Project Management and Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Jay resides in Deerfield Beach, Florida with his family.
Joe Cordasco, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Synergistix, Joe oversees all strategic client initiatives, business development, and management of key relationships. Through active monitoring of consumer and market trends, Joe is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic planning, driving sales growth and ensuring satisfaction across a broad client base.
With 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and health care industry, Joe’s experience in sales administration, strategic initiatives, and P&L management has shown results in relationships ranging from small and mid-sized companies to Fortune 100 corporations. Joe holds an MBA in Finance and International Business and a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from Seton Hall University. Joe currently resides with his wife and 3 children in New Jersey.
